Exclusive: New Pantene Pro V range

I was recently chosen by the rather fab website Supersavvyme to do an exclusive trial of the brand new Pantene Pro v collection!!!

So a huge box arrived yesterday..packed full of my project kit. The trial is to last over a course of 8 weeks....in that time i have to trial the products, spread the word, hand out samples and do market research!!!

The pack came in a huge Savvy Circle bag....crammed full of everything i need for the project....

Sample kits, money off vouchers, full size trail products, market research sheets and project handbook!

Now the new Pantene Pro v collection is split into 3 major hair types, each coloured coded to help you recognise your hair care type:

• Fine
• Normal / Thick
• Coloured

Each one of those has different collections to meet the needs of those specific hair types
Fine hair
Aqualight: Helps nourish hair with virtually no weight (Selected for project)
Volume and body: Health looking volume for fine hair
Ice shine: Shine and radiant vitality for tired, dull hair.

Normal /Thick hair
Repair and protect: Moisturisation and resilience for dry/damaged hair (selected for project)
Smooth and sleek: Beautiful smoothness for dry/frizzy hair
Total Fullness: Healthy looking fullness for lifeless, weighed down hair.

Coloured Hair
Protect & Smooth: Colour protection and healthy looking smoothness for coloured or highlighted hair (Selected for Project)
Protect & Volume: Colour protection and healthy looking volume for coloured or highlighted hair.

So my trial products were from the coloured hair range: Protect & Smooth, a shampoo, conditioner and 2 minute colour rescue mask.

Basically the aim of the project is to trail it, hand out samples, get market research from other people and then share our findings with others online.

I tried 2 of the products pretty much straight away, the shampoo and the 2 minute mask. Now having coloured hair i do find it tends to get pretty dry sometimes....and trying to find a damn good hair range that injects a bit of life back into it can sometimes be a nightmare!!

So firstly the shampoo......consistency was thick, smelt lovely....reminded me of sweets for some reason, it lathered up really easily and didn't have to use loads like some shampoos which was good....my hair also felt squeaky clean after rinsing.

Onto the 2 minute mask. This had pretty much the same smell as the shampoo.....consistency again pretty thick but easy to apply through hair...just leave on for 2 minutes then wash off........on rinsing my hair it was instantly sleek and tangle free..major bonus!!!....but the main thing was it felt really really soft........result!!!

First impressions are good....my hair feels great...and I'm loving the softness of it which makes styling much easier. Really interested to see if the condition of my hair improves with regular usage....so watch this space......shall keep you posted!!!!Pin It
