Love your beauty organic? Then i think i may have found the perfect site for you. Lucy Rose is rather lovely online organic beauty boutique. Set up by professional beauty therapist Sarah, the idea spawned from concern about the amount of harmful chemicals in the products she was using on a daily basis. So with a little help from her hubbie she set about sourcing natural, environmentally friendly and affordable products and thus Lucy Rose was born.
The site is loaded with products from well known brands through to unique unknowns covering skincare, haircare, body, makeup, baby, men and healthcare.
Lucy Rose looks great, easy to navigate and is really informal. To give you an idea of the kind of products you'll find on Lucy Rose they very kindly sent me to samples from their soap range.
Dr Bronners Organic Peppermint Castile Liquid Soap and also the Organic Lavender Castile Liquid soap are a fabulous multipurpose alternative to the traditional solid soap. A combination of extra virgin coconut, olive, jojoba, hemp oils and essential oils makes up these soaps, making them gentle to the skin, easy to lather and leaves skin smooth....the best thing is its multi use (actually says 18 in1 on the bottle) so you can shave, wash and even shampoo with this product.
This stuff seems to be a bit of a cult product with people constantly coming up with new uses for it. Not only can you wash with it but how about diluting it to use for cleaning, adding it to your laundry...damn you can even brush your teeth with it...(not sure ill try that one). The fragrance of both these soaps is lovely and a little really does go a long way, i was amazed at how much they lathered and your skin feels zingy clean afterwards.
All these uses for only £8.99....bargain.
Other products on the site are reasonably priced plus there's a range of special offers available. You can also earn loyalty points, every £1 equals 1 Rose reward point and you can redeem these points any time you wish with a simple prompt at checkout.
Note for any other bloggers out there, Lucy Rose run their own affiliate programme where you can earn 7% commission on any sales. For more info on this go to: http://www.lucyrose.biz/affiliateapplication.html
